Fancy trying a new sport? Looking to break up your day with some physical activity between studying?
The Sports Union will be hosting two Rock Up Sports Club sessions in Semester 2 of 2013/14 in partnership with both Strathy Ultimate Frisbee and Gaelic Football Clubs to deliver free activity for all Strathclyders, Ultimate Frisbee will take place on Thursday 20th February from 3-4pm in the CSR and Gaelic Football will take place on Thursday 27th February from 3 – 4pm also in the CSR.
The Rock Up Sports Club initiative at Strathclyde aims to offer a different sport or physical activity to our students. The goal is to have a fun and safe session each week, simple as that. There will be no PE teachers in indecent shorts, no getting picked last and no one being made to feel useless. RUSC is for anyone who wants to rock up, have a laugh and keep healthy while studying here. Its timeslot means you can go after your last lecture of the day and unwind.
Come along and have a ‘bash’ at these sports with our student coaches. Remember, it’s FREE!
