The following Sports Union Clubs are required to do swim tests for 08-09.
Test forms & guidelines can be downloanded here, or obtained from the Sports Union Office (Level 7, The Union). The form is completed and signed by the Tester, signed by the Club Committee, and then approved by the Sports Union Sports Development Officer. The Tester MUST be a registered coach. Members who have not completed swim tests will be unable to attend any club trips or participate in any events.
The tests are transferable i.e. if a sub aqua members passes the test they don't need to retake the test with any other club. The tests are a MINIMUM standard if your National Governing Body requires you to be more stringent then by all means follow their guidance.
