The Sports Union uses the John Anderson Campus Centre for Sport and Recreation and the playing fields at Stepps. The Centre is on the John Anderson Campus in the University Centre set back in the corner of the landscaped area at the top of John Street.

The Centre provides a recreational service for students and staff at the University.
There is also a membership scheme which allows graduates of the University (as well as a limited member of graduates of other Universities) to make use of the facilities at an appropriate fee. The CSR runs a wide variety of classes, provides large training facilities as well as an excellent CV suite.

The Centre is also in charge of the Swimming pool and small gym in the royal college as well as the facilities out at Stepps playing fields. Stepps has a floodlit Astroturf pitch and a large number of pitches available for football, rugby and cricket.
