Emergency First Aid Courses |

The University of Strathclyde Sports Union, in conjunction with Glasgow Caledonian University, are hosting two Emergency First Aid courses.
The course is FREE to all registered SU members, is accredited by the Swimming Teachers Association and recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. It covers a range of topics including dealing with an emergency, CPR, wounds and dressings, fractures, sprains, head and injuries and asthma. |

The University of Strathclyde Sports Union will be hosting the 2010 Sports Fayre on Wednesday 22nd September, in The Union, Level 8 - Vertigo, from 10-4pm.
The Sports Fayre provides an opportunity for Freshers / Returning Students to find out about the 45 different sports clubs we have to offer, to chat to the club members, learn a bit more about the Sports Union and get some freebies - and most importantly to sign up to sport at Strathclyde! |

SSPE AND STRATHCLYDERS
The University of Strathclyde is holding a rugby dinner in support of its fundraising campaign for the new Centre for Sport and Health. Plans are at an early stage but the evening promises to be most enjoyable and will include a welcome drinks reception, dinner and after dinner speaker.

The Sports Union are currently planning for 2010-11, but will be open throughout the summer - 9:30 - 4pm, Mon-Fri.
There are a number of clubs still participating throughout the summer. To participate in any club, sport or events within the University of Strathclyde Sports Union, all students must register to become an affiliated member.
